to Dike Montessori middle school and Charles Dickens. After Graduating 8th grade, I attended John F. Kennedy High School and Graduated class of 2010 in the top 15% of my class with a 3.5gpa. Receiving
the math award of my class, NAACP award, being recognized with who’s who and people of people.
Leaving Cleveland and going to North Carolina to attend Shaw University where I studied Mathematics
and then transferred to West Virginia State University where I graduated with a degree of BA in
Economics Class Of 2016. After graduating I returned home and worked for Huntington Bank as a
Relationship Banker then leaving there to go and work for Quicken Loans Mortgage Company as a Loan
Originator. After that I didn’t want to work for anyone anymore and decided to leave Quicken Loans and
open my own convenient store in my neighborhood where I grew up. I am a Licensed ordained minister,
licensed CDCA and a licensed Educator recognizing that the community needed some help I created a
nonprofit called Chess Knot Checkers. The Idea is to change the community around me one individual at
a time by teaching the game of chess which improves critical thinking skills. “Be The Change You Want to
see” is the moto I stand by.
